The Royal Ballet School is the UK's foremost ballet institution which has been responsible for nurturing and building upon ballet talent for youngsters in the UK. The school runs its primarySTEPS programme, a national junior school programme which aims to provide Year 3 (7-8 yrs) class groups with a positive introduction to ballet; and initial creative ballet training for selected children, who'd not otherwise have the opportunity. In Swindon, they have a partnership with Churchfields Academy, Swindon Dance and six local primary schools: Drove Primary, King William Street Primary, Lainesmead Primary, Lawn Primary, Mountford Manor Primary and Oak Tree Primary.
