SNAPPED: Swindon Railway Festival 2018

Over the weekend (8th-9th September), visitors of STEAM Museum saw the UK's finest railway layouts and many more railway heritage attractions! Check out our gallery below...

There was beautiful model railway engines, carriages, wagons, stock and scenery with their astounding level of detail and craftsmanship to enjoy.
 
With a terrific variety of scales and gauges on offer, 27 model railways were displayed throughout the Museum!

The two-day festival had a great atmosphere, visitors were welcomed on arrival by the live steam display at the front of the Museum, setting the scene with evocative smoky smells and sounds of the steam whistle.
