Swindon Town announce trio of pre-season fixtures

Swindon Town’s pre-season fixture schedule for 2026/27 is starting to take shape.

Ian Holloway’s side will make the trip to non-league outfit Chippenham Town on Tuesday, July 14 (7.30pm), while Championship outfit Bristol City will visit the Nigel Eady County Ground on Saturday, July 25 (3pm).

A post regarding the Bristol City fixture via the club website said: “Ticket information, pricing, and details regarding when tickets will go on sale will be announced in due course.”

Holloway’s side will then visit National League outfit Forest Green Rovers on Saturday, August 1 (3pm kick-off).

Town will be looking to rebuild after narrowly missing out on the League Two play-off last season.

They finished ninth in the table, with 75 points from 46 games, failing to secure a spot in the top seven on the final day of the campaign.
