Swindon's FA Cup tie at Eastleigh chosen for live television coverage

Swindon Town's trip to Eastleigh in the First Round Proper of the FA Cup will be broadcast live on the BBC.

The match, like every other first round tie, was due to be played on the weekend of November 5/6, but it will now be played on Friday, November 4 because of the TV scheduling, with a kick-off time of 19:55.

Dan Walker will present the programme with ex-West Ham and England winger Trevor Sinclair assisting him with live punditry.

Eastleigh are the home side so the match is taking place at the Silverlake Stadium.

Swindon have not progressed beyond round one in the FA Cup since the 2011-12 campaign.
