Swindon Town's clash against Peterborough to be broadcast on Sky Sports

Swindon Town will face Posh on Saturday, September 3, and fans will have the luxury of seeing the away game encounter live on television.

Broadcasters Sky Sports have confirmed the tie will be shown live on their platform, a move which means Town fans will have the opportunity to watch an away game from the comfort of their own home or local bar.

The match, originally scheduled by the Football League as a 3.00pm kick-off, will now be brought forward and will get underway at 12.15pm.

The encounter will be the first televised action of the 2016/17 season for the Robins.
