Loanee Murphy's time at Swindon Town ends
Swindon Town have confirmed Adam Murphy has returned to parent club Bristol City after being on loan at the Nigel Eady County Ground.
The 20-year-old midfielder, whose spell with the Robins was disrupted by injury, played five times in all competitions for Ian Holloway’s side during the opening half of the season.
A statement on Town’s official website read: “Adam joined the Robins in the summer and, despite his time at the County Ground being disrupted by injury, remained a valued member of the squad.
“He continued to show commitment and professionalism throughout his spell, contributing positively to the group both on and off the pitch.
“Everyone at Swindon Town would like to thank Adam for his efforts and dedication while with the club, and we wish him every success at the next stage of his career.”
Meanwhile, Town defender Sonny Hart has joined National League South Farnborough on loan until the end to the season.
A statement on the Robins’ website said: “We wish Sonny all the best throughout his loan spell and look forward to monitoring his continued development this season.”
