Holloway insists Swindon Town will 'keep learning' after draw with Notts County

Boss Ian Holloway insisted his Swindon Town side would “keep learning” as they twice came from behind to draw 2-2 at home with Notts County.

Aaron Drinan struck twice to continue his impressive start to the season, cancelling out goals from Conor Grant and Alassana Jatta in either half respectively.

The point left them second in the League Two table, one behind leaders Walsall after 13 games played.

Holloway said: "I thought we showed character, the team could have folded, but they did not, and they showed belief.

"They realised that, 'hang on, we can go for a period against a team like that.' They did get on top for a bit, and we can still come back and then look dominant.

"And if there was going to be a winner, I think it was going to be us, and I think that shows good character, but it's not what I'd have liked.

"I had a target for this game, getting three points and next Saturday, trying to get three points again to get through the 30-point margin as quickly as we can.

"But we will take what we're doing and we'll keep going, and we'll keep learning, and I think that's a big tick in the box for character for this evening.”

Next up for Town is a home game against Colchester United on Saturday (3pm).
