Harding Praises Okanagan Academy Youngsters vs Bees
Swindon Wildcats forward Adam Harding was full of praise for the Okanagan Academy youngsters, who made their professional bows vs Bracknell Bees on Saturday evening, and offered his thoughts to Total Sport following the final buzzer.
In one of the most dramatic games ever played upon Swindon ice the Wildcats finally emerged as 9-8 victors, only after 16 goals in normal time, overtime and also penalty shots.
Harding was somewhat of the hero of the evening, scoring in both normal time and also bagging the decisive winning penalty shot.
Total Sport caught up with a near speechless Harding as the full-time buzzer sounded, to get his thoughts on five academy starlets who stepped up to the senior side in its time of need.
Adam Finlinson, Jordan Kelsall, Harry Gulliver, Ben Nethersell and Kyle Smith each iced for the Wildcats against Bracknell Bees, in order to compensate for the side's reduced numbers as a result of the U20 World Championships in France.
