Swindon Half Marathon 2025: Swindon Half is back (with some cheeky hills!)

Swindon came alive on Sunday 28th September as thousands of runners, supporters, and volunteers came together for the Swindon Half Marathon 2025. The event once again showcased the incredible community spirit of the town, with participants of all ages and abilities taking on the 13.1-mile challenge.

Starting in the beautiful Coate Water,  the route offered runners a scenic tour of the outskirts of Swindon. It included much of the old Swindon Half route which is renowed from being very pretty - but also hilly to boot! 

This mix of urban streets, iconic landmarks, and peaceful green spaces made the course both challenging and rewarding, offering plenty of photo-worthy moments along the way.

From elite athletes chasing personal bests to first-time half marathoners running for charity, every participant had their own inspiring story. Local businesses and community groups also played a huge role, helping make the day a true celebration of fitness, resilience, and togetherness.
