Ajose makes Football Manager team of the season

Swindon striker Nicky Ajose has been acknowledged for his fine goalscoring form this season, by being included in the final XI of the Football Manager team of the season in the 2016 Football League awards.

Ajose has been a shining light in Swindon Town's otherwise rather dull season, and has plundered 22 goals in 2958 minutes of play.

One goal clear of Wigan Athletic's William Grigg, Ajose currently stands as League One's leading goal scorer.

Forming a lethal partnership with fellow forward Jon Obika, Ajose has scored an array of goals during the 2015/16 campaign, including his second career hat-trick against Blackpool as Swindon Town staged a come back at the County Ground.
