Snapped: Sustrans Pop Up Shop

For one day only on Saturday the 12th of July, bicycle charity Sustrans held a pop-up shop in the Brunel Shopping, celebrating the Tour De Swindon. TGtS were present to photograph this one-off event.

Sustrans, the movement for increased biking in the community, pulled out all the stops with its Brunel pop up shop, allowing people to get on board with some fun cycling activites, just in time for the Tour De France's tour in Britain this year.

For one day only, Sustrans were in Swindon Town Centre celebrating cycling and le Tour de France with their very own le Tour de Swindon. They were in both the Brunel Shopping Centre as well as being out on Wharf Green with lots of free activities to join in on.  You could have had a cycle race in the pop up shop, or join le Tour de France with a very special photo booth? 

The event was a tremendous success, encouraging people that biking was economical, envirommentally friendly, and above all alse, fun.
