River Island store to open at Orbital Shopping Park

Following the closure of the town centre store, a new River Island store will be opening at the popular Orbital Shopping Park in Swindon.

The new store announcement was made last year, before lockdown 3.0, with a planned opening date of February 6th. However, due to the national lockdown, which involves keeping non-essential shops shut, the new store will of course no longer be opening yet.

Due to the uncertain circumstances surrounding the third lockdown, a new opening date is yet to be announced and it is unknown how many jobs it will create in Swindon.

The signage for the new store, which sits beside Lidl, is up and the store is ready to open as soon as it's safe to do so.
