“Weird & Wonderful” End-Of-Year Media Make-Up Show At New College Swindon

The Media Make-up department at New College Swindon is gearing up for its end-of-year show on Tuesday 13th June which showcases the work of students from Level 2 to degree level.

Described as “wacky, weird, and wonderful”, the show draws on the talents of students working across creative makeup, body art, wig making, prosthetic application, and costume design. Fans of theatre and movies will love what the students have put together. 

Katie Wiltshire, Media Make-up Lecturer at New College Swindon says “Our learners have been working on their creations since April and have been heavily researching, designing, and realising individual and personal interpretations of themes given to them. Some of these include Phobias, Under the Sea, and The Wizard of Oz. As a team, we are incredibly proud of all our learners and look forward to seeing where our leavers head next in their careers.”

The show will take place at STEAM and the public is invited to come along on 13th June from 7.00-10.00 pm. Tickets are £10 and can be purchased over the phone, and then collected on the night of the show. Please call 01793 209440 to book tickets.
