Snapped: Swindon & Wiltshire Pride 2013

On Saturday hundreds of local people from the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) community took part in the sixth annual Swindon and Wiltshire Pride celebrations. The event kicked off with a flamboyant parade around Old Town before an afternoon of music and entertainment took place at the Old Town Bowl. The event, which was started back in 2008, aims to promote equality and diversity within the community and works to put an end to discrimination. Alongside food and activity stalls, counsellors and health experts were on hand to offer free relationship advice and sexual health checks.
