Snapped: Race for Life 2014

Hundreds of women walked, jogged and ran over the weekend to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

Everyone from grandmothers to children donned their brightest pink shirts to take part in the fun 5 and 10km races. Spurred on by the cheering crowd, some runners even wore fancy dress costumes.

Winding around Lydiard Park, the course took runners on picturesque route around the house and lake.

Race for Life is the largest women-only fundraising event in the UK. Since 1994, women of all ages and fitness levels across the UK have come together at these inspiring events to walk, jog or run to help beat cancer.
