Snapped: Old Town Festival 2014

Swindon's annual, Old Town Festival kicked off in spectacular style over the weekend.

During the week-long event a range of events and activities will take place in and around Old Town. 

This year's celebrations hope to promote a healthy lifestyle with a real emphasis on getting the whole family active, teaching people about the benefits of healthy living and improving fitness. 

Now in its 70th year, the Old Town Festival provides local people with the opportunity to showcase their talents. 

The festival runs until Saturday, during which time there are still plenty of chances to head down and get involved in the festivities. 

As the event draws to a close on Saturday, a special show will take place at the Old Town Gardens featuring music by local groups and bands.
