Snapped: New College Fashion Show 2014

On Thursday night, New College Swindon staged its annual runway show showcasing the work of its fashion and textile students.

During the glamorous event, a series of weird and wonderful designs took to the runway. 

Students’ creations included an embellished white Grecian style gown and a series of oriental inspired robes. 

Special attention was paid when displaying the clothes, in particular to hair and make-up. Students worked with both the performing arts and hair and beauty departments to put on a spectacular show. 

The catwalk show was part of New College's first ever Fashion Week. The five day fashion extravaganza included a range of fashionable events and installations including vintage stands, workshops, university visits, guest speakers, live demonstrations and much more.
