PetShed Continues Animal Fayre’s Story on Cricklade High Street

PetShed welcomed its first customers at Animal Fayre in Cricklade on Thursday 1 October, beginning a new chapter for the shop with a commitment to preserving the care and personal service its customers know and value.

PetShed is now welcoming customers at Animal Fayre on Cricklade High Street, building on the work of Barbara, Jeanette and their family.

The team is approaching this next chapter with care and respect for the shop’s history, recognising the love and dedication that have gone into serving pet owners in Cricklade and the surrounding communities over the years.

For PetShed, the priority is to continue that service while taking the time to get to know the shop’s customers and their pets. The team hopes to provide reassurance through familiar products, a friendly welcome and a thoughtful approach to any future changes.

In a message to customers, the PetShed team said: “We feel incredibly fortunate to have been given the opportunity to continue the wonderful work of Barbara, Jeanette and family. We aim to carry on providing the same high level of care and service to all you lovely pet people in Cricklade and the surrounding areas.

“We’re very mindful of the history and love that has gone into Animal Fayre over the years, and it’s a privilege to be able to continue its journey.”

Customers visiting Animal Fayre will continue to find the familiar products they have come to know and love, with new faces behind the counter ready to welcome them.

Rather than introducing immediate changes, PetShed intends to take a gradual approach. In time, the team may introduce some favourite products from its Wroughton shop, giving Cricklade customers additional options while retaining the familiarity of Animal Fayre.

The arrival in Cricklade also gives PetShed an opportunity to get to know more local pet owners, understand what matters to them and build relationships with the community the shop has served.

The team added: “For the time being, not much will change, you’ll still find the same familiar products that you’ve come to know and love, just with new faces behind the counter.

“We’re really looking forward to welcoming you through the doors and getting to know all our new customers, both two-legged and four-legged!”

PetShed at Animal Fayre is now open on Cricklade High Street. Existing customers and those visiting for the first time are warmly invited to pop in, meet the team, and continue supporting the shop as it begins this next chapter.
