Artist-led workshop: Ose Basket Two Day Workshop with Sarah Le Breton

A two-day advanced willow weaving workshop to make an ose (gathering/hen/skye) basket, led by willow weaver Sarah Le Breton.

Times: 9.15am – 5.30pm

This two-day workshop teaches advanced basketry skills to create an ose basket (also known as a gathering, hen or skye basket). Under the expert tutelage of Sarah Le Breton, participants learn to make willow hoop frames, construct the basket, and weave symmetrically, as well as guidance on growing, harvesting and preparing willow for weaving.

• Ability level: Best for those who have already made willow baskets
