We recommend

We visited with our 8-year-old, 5-year-old, 4-year-old niece and my Mum and Dad, and it was one of those rare places that genuinely works for all ages. With impressive indoor soft play, outdoor play included in your ticket, and plenty for adults to enjoy too, Sprouts really is soft play on another level and a brilliant option for Wiltshire families in any season.
One of the standout things about Sprouts is how well it caters for different ages. There’s a specially designed under 5s area, which makes it ideal for families with younger children, while older kids can enjoy the huge main play framewithout things feeling overwhelming or chaotic.
Everything feels spacious, well thought out and safe, which instantly puts parents (and grandparents!) at ease.
There are picnic tables in full view of the play barn, meaning we could sit, catch up over a freshly made coffee and cake from the cafe and enjoy watching the kids having an absolute blast.
Beyond the impressive play frame, there’s so much to explore – the variety really sets Sprouts apart and keeps children engaged for the whole session.
Highlights included:
A sports court, where the children practised shooting goals and running off even more energy (I enjoyed shooting a few hoops with the kids)
The children naturally moved between activities, which meant there was no boredom and no constant queueing for one thing, and they enjoyed spotting us adults from the top and waving to us excitedly!
After all that running around indoors, the kids were keen to get some fresh air – and the outdoor play area, which is included in your Sprouts admission ticket, was a brilliant bonus.
From zooming down slides and balancing on beams to whizzing around on ride-alongs, it’s a lovely space for both little and bigger children. It’s also ideal for parents,
It’s worth noting that:
Sprouts runs on pre-booked sessions, which last two hours, giving children plenty of time to play without things feeling rushed or overcrowded. The session system also helps keep the environment calm and enjoyable, even on busier days.
Having my Mum and Dad with us highlighted just how well Sprouts works as a family outing for all generations. There’s space to sit, watch, chat and relax while the children play safely nearby.
After our session, we enjoyed a little walk around Millets Farm, where we spotted the alpacas and spent time in the incredible farm shop – well worth a visit in its own right.
There’s plenty of onsite parking, including electric charging points, making the whole visit easy and stress-free.
Sprouts Play Barn is a fantastic indoor and outdoor play attraction, ideal for rainy days, cold weather or as part of a full day out at Millets Farm. It offers far more than standard soft play and is genuinely suitable for toddlers, older children, parents and grandparents alike.
If you’re looking for things to do with kids at Millets Farm or a high-quality family activity that combines play, learning and fresh air, Sprouts Play Barn should be high on your list.
