Barnes Coaches Expands School Competition with Extra Prizes

Following an overwhelming response, Barnes Coaches has expanded its Local School Competition, giving schools even more chances to win.

Barnes Coaches has announced an exciting update to its Local School Competition, adding extra prizes after receiving an incredible number of nominations from across the region.

The competition was launched to celebrate the schools, teachers and communities making a positive difference every day. Thanks to the enthusiastic response, Barnes Coaches has increased the number of prizes from one to three, giving even more schools the opportunity to benefit.

Schools can now win one of the following prizes:

• 1st Prize: Free private coach hire for a school trip
• 2nd Prize: 50% off private coach hire
• 3rd Prize: £50 private hire voucher

The competition is open to primary schools, secondary schools and colleges across Wiltshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire.

To nominate a school, entrants simply need to email:

• The school's name and town
• A short reason why the school deserves to win

Entries close on Friday 31st July 2026, with one winner selected at random for each prize from all eligible nominations. Winners will be contacted directly and announced on the Barnes Coaches social media channels after the competition closes.
