Fairfield Animal Centre

Enjoy a family day out at Fairfield Animal Centre, set within 15 acres of Southwick Country Park near Trowbridge.

Previously known as Hope Nature Centre, this Wiltshire attraction brings together animal encounters, outdoor play and a welcoming café.

Meet animals including alpacas, donkeys, goats, sheep, pigs, emus and wallabies, and visit the Rabbit and Guinea Pig Village to see some of the park’s smaller residents. Explore the paddocks at your own pace, with animal feed available to buy at the entrance. Little ones can also burn off some energy in the adventure playground and other play areas around the park.

When it’s time for a break, head to the café for breakfast, lunch or a sweet treat. Choose from baguettes, wraps, hot snacks and drinks, with takeaway options available for those exploring Southwick Country Park.

There’s more to discover throughout the year, with seasonal events and animal experiences adding to the fun. Annual passes are also available for families who would like to visit regularly.

As part of Fairfield Trust, the centre provides training opportunities for young adults with learning disabilities, helping them develop practical skills for employment. A visit is a chance to enjoy time together while supporting a local charity.
