Double Bill of Music and Comedy Comes to Town Gardens Bowl This Weekend

There's something for everyone at the beautiful Town Gardens Bowl this weekend, with two more outstanding outdoor performances taking to the stage in Old Town.

On Saturday 4th July at 7.30pm, audiences can enjoy Seriously Collins, the UK's acclaimed tribute to Phil Collins and Genesis. Far from being an impersonation act, Seriously Collins faithfully recreates the sound, musicianship and atmosphere of some of the greatest hits of the 1980s and 90s. Featuring classics including In the Air Tonight, Easy Lover, Sussudio, Against All Odds and Genesis favourites, the show has earned a reputation as one of the country's finest tribute performances, delivering an unforgettable evening for fans of one of Britain's greatest musical icons.

Then on Sunday 5th July at 2pm, the laughter continues with The (Almost) Complete History of Britain, presented by the award-winning Pantaloons Theatre Company. In their trademark fast paced and delightfully chaotic style, the company races through centuries of British history in under two hours, blending comedy, live music, audience participation and wonderfully irreverent storytelling. From Henry VIII to the Spanish Armada, expect history as you've never seen it before.

Set in the picturesque surroundings of Town Gardens Bowl, both performances promise a memorable weekend of outdoor entertainment. Visitors are encouraged to bring a picnic blanket or low-backed chair, relax in one of Swindon's most unique venues and enjoy live entertainment in the open air.

Whether you're singing along to timeless Phil Collins classics on Saturday night or laughing your way through Britain's most outrageous history lesson on Sunday afternoon, Town Gardens Bowl is the place to be this weekend.

Tickets are available now and advance booking is recommended.
