Christmas Train of Light (Dartmouth Steam Train) and Torquay

A festive coach trip with free time in Torquay followed by the award-winning Dartmouth Steam Railway Christmas Train of Light experience from Paignton.

The day includes free time in Torquay for last-minute Christmas shopping, food or a harbour walk, followed by travel to Paignton for the multi award-winning Christmas Train of Light on the Dartmouth Steam Railway.

The illuminated journey begins at Queen’s Park Station, Paignton, with vintage carriages decorated with thousands of lights. The show begins after arrival at Churston Station and continues through the Greenway tunnel to the illuminated forest displays, finishing with views of Dartmouth’s lights reflected on the River Dart. There is an opportunity to disembark at Kingswear to take photographs before returning to Paignton.
