Meet the farm animals

A trip to the farm is a favourite pastime and a great way to get out with the kids whilst staying safe and adhering to socially distanced guidelines. Roves Farm is a 166-hectare working farm in Swindon with tons of great farm activities for everyone to enjoy. 
 
Meet and feed the farm animals, enjoy tractor rides, and explore their outdoor adventure play areas throughout the winter. Lambing season also takes place throughout January so you may even be able to witness some beautiful moments on your visit to Roves this winter.

Head to the zoo

Everyone loves a visit to the zoo! So this January why not take the family on a Covid-secure day out to Cotswold Wildlife Park. Open every day throughout the year besides Christmas Day, Cotswold Wildlife Park have a fantastic array of exotic animals to marvel at including lions, white rhinos and everyone's favourite - meerkats! Located in Burford, this exciting zoo is just a short drive from Swindon and open till 4.30pm until March.
