Taste of the Caribbean, described as one of the biggest UK food festivals, promises to be a hit with all the family through a wide selection of authentic Caribbean cuisine and music.
Visitors will be spoilt for choice with over 50 variations of Caribbean dishes from all across the islands including Jerk Chicken, Lamb & Pork, Oxtail, Plantain, Roti, Crab and more. Vegan options will also be available.
Live music acts that celebrate the Caribbean’s vibrant musical history will soundtrack the day. These include tributes to Bob Marley & The Wailers, UB40 as well as Carnival Steel Pans and the incredible Dem Boyz, described as the best party band from Barbados.
If that wasn’t enough, an exciting market will open with traders selling a variety of goods from sunglasses to jewellery, clothes, greetings cards, children’s toys and cosmetics.
For those with an extra interest in the culinary offerings of the Caribbean, there will be cooking demonstrations local and celebrity chefs including none other than Celebrity Masterchef and Eastenders’ own Richard Blackwood.
This event is perfect for all the family; not only do under 14’s receive free entry, they also have a whole host of free activities and games such as circus skills and puppet shows, funfair rides, bouncy castles, face painting and dessert and sweet stalls.
Adult tickets can currently be purchased but have limited availability so hurry to ensure you don't miss out on an incredible experience of a unique culture!
