New College Students Receive Scholarships to the London Institute of Banking and Finance

Eight students have been awarded scholarships to the London Institute of Banking and Finance after finishing in the top 3% across the country.

The Financial Studies students were presented their scholarships by Robert Buckland MP and Debi Howell from the London Institute of Banking and Finance (LIBF).

The group was comprised of current second year students that excelled in their exams for a Certificate in Financial Studies and New College Alumni that succeeded in their summer exams for a Diploma in Financial Studies.

The recipients of the scholarships were placed in the top 3% across the country after achieving brilliant results in their summer exams.

Debi Howell, Relationships Manager for West & Wales at LIBF:

“It is a real honour to come out, meet the students and be able to congratulate them personally. It’s great to see so many students achieving so highly and New College should be proud of both their students and their staff.”

The scholars were presented their certificates in front of first year students to demonstrate the opportunities available through hard work.
