Snapped: Local Businesses Fancied their Odds at Excalibur's Business Raceday
And they're off! Pimms in hand TGtS Director Liz Ledger joined over 100 local businesses from Swindon and Bath at Excalibur's networking race day. Attendees from Withy King, Fidelius, Thrings, Bath Rugby and inSwindon were treated to a champagne drinks reception and slap-up 3 course lunch before making their way down to the racecourse to place some bets and cheer on their horses to victory. Over lunch John Cullum, the father of legendary jazz musician, Jamie, delighted guests with anecdotes from his son’s childhood, professional and personal life. The event, sponsored by Excalibur Communications, was designed to provide companies from around the South West with an opportunity to get out of the office, network, and entertain clients whilst enjoying a very memorable day. Guests were later invited to participate in an auction which saw generous donations from Excalibur, Mulberry, JCB and Rolls Royce go under the hammer. TGtS even sponsored a race and had the honour of awarding the winning jockey with his prize.
