Swindon Town to visit Walsall in League Two opener - Fixtures in full

Swindon Town will start their 2025/26 league campaign with a trip to Walsall on Saturday, August 2.

Ian Holloway’s side have been back in pre-season training this week, with their League Two schedule now revealed following the release of today’s EFL fixtures.

Their first home game comes against Cambridge United on Saturday, August 9, while Town will end the season against Chesterfield at the Nigel Eady County Ground on Saturday, May 2, 2026.

A trip to MK Dons provides the club’s Boxing Day fixture, while they will host Gillingham on New Year’s Day.

Holloway’s side will be looking to build on a 12^th-placed league finish last season.

Town also found out today they will travel to Cardiff City in the first round of the Carabao Cup. That game will be played the week commencing Monday, August 11.
