Swindon Town to lock horns with Supermarine in preseason

Swindon Town Football Club have confirmed they will once more face local team Swindon Supermarine as part of their pre-season preparations ahead of the 2016/17 campaign.

The two sides will meet at the Webbswood Stadium on Saturday, July, 9, with the kick off scheduled for 3pm.

Ticket details are yet to be announced, and Swindon Town have informed fans the information will be released in due course.

The teams last met during the pre-season prior to the 2015/16, a game in which Supermarine emerged victorious to the scoreline of two goals to one.

The victory for Supermarine was the first time Dave Webb's side had taken the spoils in the fixture, which has ran consistently as part of the pre-season preparations for both teams since 2006.
