Swindon Town take Millwall striker Harry Smith on season-long loan

Millwall striker Harry Smith has signed a season-long loan deal at Swindon Town.

Smith, 22, made his Millwall debut in the EFL Trophy last November and netted two goals for the Lions in a 3-1 win over Luton Town.

He also netted a hat-trick against Braintree Town in the FA Cup and scored six goals in all competitions in his debut season as a professional.

Prior to that, he was at Isthmain League side Folkestone Ivicta, where he scored 13 in 19.

Smith is Town's eighth summer signing and becomes the striker that David Flitcroft said this week he was looking for. 

He joins Luke Norris and fellow new signing Paul Mullin as the club's strikeforce.
