Swindon Supermarine hit Bridgwater Town for five
Swindon Supermarine blitzed Bridgwater Town on Saturday afternoon as they scored five goals for the second time in a row on the road.
There were five separate scorers at Bridgwater with Josh Parsons, Conor Waldon, Ash Taylor, George Reid and Callum Parsons all finding the back of the net.
Parsons gave Marine an early lead, as he curled a beauty into the top corner after just five minutes to settle any early neves the visitors may have had.
Not long after Supermarine were two to the good via the ever-lethal Waldon netting in the 23rd minute.
Goalkeeper Connor Johns' clearance set Joe Selman on his way and his cross was converted by Waldon to offer Marine some breathing space.
There was still time for another goal before half-time with Taylor adding his name to the continually-growing list of Swindon scorers with his header seven minutes before the break.
The second half was less goal-friendly, until the last ten minutes when Marine bagged two more to make it a scoreline to really remember.
With eight minutes left Reid rounded Dan Jackson in the Bridgwater goal before slotting in number four and Parsons completed the rout in stoppage time when he fired into the bottom corner.
