Ripley's full focus on helping Swindon Town 'push forward'
Goalkeeper Connor Ripley admitted he was fully focused on helping Swindon Town push forward, after agreeing a fresh two-year deal.
The 32-year-old, who joined the club midway through last season, has impressed during his time at the Nigel Eady County Ground.
He made 14 appearances in helping Ian Holloway’s side to a 12th-placed finish in League Two last season.
Speaking after finalising his new deal, Ripley said: "I’m absolutely buzzing to be staying at Swindon.
“Since day one, I’ve felt at home here – the fans, the staff, the lads – it’s a great environment. I’m excited for what’s ahead and fully focused on helping this club push forward.
"It happened pretty quickly, I had a call with the manager and he was keen to get something done. I really enjoyed my time here, and I wanted to commit myself to the club as well.
“The feel I got from the place from the minute I arrived was incredible. I built a fantastic relationship with the fans and I feel we can build on the end of the season and do something with this group next season."
