PREVIEW: Swindon Town vs Fleetwood Town

Swindon Town welcome a Fleetwood Town side that do not fare well on their travels for the last game at the County Ground in 2016.

Fleetwood may be flying high in 7th but they have only managed two wins from their ten league games while Swindon have won five of their last ten home matches, including the last two against Charlton (3-0) and Bradford (1-0).

Overall Fleetwood are ranked 17th in the League One away table while Swindon are positioned 15th in the home table.

The two sides have only ever met, with Swindon winning one, drawing two and losing the other.

That solitary win came in Wiltshire in November, 2014 courtesy of a late Ben Gladwin goal.

If Town are going to continue their impressive recent County Ground record they may have to do so without the trio of Michael Doughty, Yaser Kasim and Jon Obika.

Doughty, who played 45 minutes of the dismal 4-0 defeat to Sheffield United last Saturday despite being ill following appendicitis, has been in training this week and head coach Luke Williams is hopeful that he will have a chance to be being back to full form tomorrow.

Kasim is in full training and "has a chance" of playing against Fleetwood while Obika has neck trouble so that is being assessed.

Long-term absentees Nathan Thompson, Jamie Sendles-White and Jordan Stewart have to remain patient with their problems while Jordan Young played the full 90 minutes of the FA Youth Cup third-round tie against QPR in midweek.

Swindon have no players suspended or one yellow card away from a one-match ban.

Fleetwood captain Nathan Pond is a doubt after limping out of their 3-2 FA Cup win over Shrewsbury with an ankle problem and Jack Sowerby went off holding the back of his leg moments later.

Jimmy Ryan (foot), Kyle Dempsey (leg gash) and Martyn Woolford (knee ligaments), full-back Michael Duckworth (groin) and centre-half Ash Eastham (jaw) are all unavailable.

No matter what happens at the County Ground or around League One this weekend, Swindon cannot fall into the relegation zone and could rise as high as 16th (they are currently 19th).
