PLAYER RATINGS: Forest Green Rovers 0-2 Swindon Town

Swindon Town snatched a late win in the first-ever league meeting between them and Forest Green Rovers. Here, Benjamin Wills dishes out his player ratings.

Lawrence Vigouroux: Swindon's keeper was not hugely troubled, but he will not care, especially as this is only his third clean sheet of the season -

Ben Purkiss: Struggled for pace against ex-Swindon man Will Randall on occasion but, on the whole, did his shift in a Town defence that shut out Forest Green -

Olly Lancashire: An excellent performance from the skipper. One quarter of that well-organised defence and his 86th-minute goal was the defining moment that got Swindon the win. Won the man-of-the-match award - 8

Chris Robertson: Dion Conroy's serious injury news in the week was a huge disappointment and a worry to the Swindon support, but for today at least he was not missed as Robertson filled the gap perfectly -

Chris Hussey (replaced by Matty Taylor '77): One corner aside, Chris Hussey's normally-dynamite set piece prowess was not on show tonight. Even got injured when curling a free-kick over the bar -

Timi Elsnik: One of the two Derby loanees, Elsnik is really growing into professional football. He once blazed a shot wide when he had better options but aside from that he was composed in the heart of Swindon's midfield -

James Dunne: Town's other centre midfielder was not quite at the same level as the match passed him by at times - 5

Kellan Gordon (replaced by Kaiyne Woolery '63): A decent shot deflected wide and a cross that picked out Paul Mullin was the best Gordon could offer, not bad at all until he was replaced by Kaiyne Woolery - 7

Keshi Anderson: Anderson looked lively regularly and drew a few saves out of goalkeeper Bradley Collins - 7

Paul Mullin: A second relatively quiet day for Mullin on the spin, but did have the odd effort on goal although neither troubled Collins -

Luke Norris (replaced by Harry Smith '81): Norris had two excellent opportunities to carry on his recent excellent form in front of goal but his shots on goal resembled last season more than this, unfortunately -

Substitutes:

Kaiyne Woolery: Woolery is still trying to force his way into the line-up regularly and, although he signed for a fee of £350,000, there has been little sign of him becoming a key player just yet -

Matty Taylor: If Taylor ever has a better 13 minutes while at Swindon it will be something special. An assist quickly followed by a goal got Swindon the win as he showed his Premier League quality - the real definition of a super sub  - 9

Harry Smith: Smith only got nine minutes and did not see a great deal of the ball, therefore, quite unfair to judge him sufficiently - N/A
