Let's Talk
Lloyd Jones has "never seen players behind the gaffer so much"
Despite currently being on a four-match streak without a win while sitting one place over the relegation zone, Lloyd Jones insists he has never been involved in a group that is as supportive as the Swindon squad is towards manager Luke Williams.
Jones was speaking after Town's 2-1 loss to Bristol Rovers on Tuesday night that saw Swindon concede two goals in a minute due to avoidable but costly errors from Raphael Rossi Branco.
"I think we are very confident as a team," Jones said.
"We are all behind the gaffer, I have obviously been out on loan quite a few times (to Cheltenham, Accrington, Blackpool and now Swindon), and I have never seen players behind the gaffer so much before.
"It is on to the next game, we know we have a game saturday (against Oldham) and then another game tuesday (against Northampton).
"Anyone can beat anyone and we know we just have to get on a run and I am sure we will be fine."
