Jamie Sendles-White set for spell on the sidelines

Swindon Town defender Jamie Sendles-White will be out of action for a while due to an injury sustained in the 2-1 home defeat against Bury.

Sendles-White was stretchered off after just 27 minutes with a knee ligament injury, which was confirmed by Town boss Luke Williams at the final whistle.

"Initially it looks like it could be a ligament problem which would be significant enough to keep Jamie (Sendles-White) out for a couple of weeks," Williams revealed.

A tweet from Sendles-White will also cause worry to Town fans:

In addition, midfielder Michael Doughty missed today's game due to appendicitis.

"Michael (Doughty) had appendicitis and a complication with his surgery as well unfortunately so he will probably be sidelined for longer than he would be if it was a run-of-the-mill appendix operation because was under anesthetic for an hour long than anticipated," Williams said.

"I think at the moment the surgeons had to open him up and obviously it takes a longer time for the body to heal."

Williams did not reveal how long the QPR loanee will be out of action for.
