New Swindon Town deal a 'no-brainer' for Glatzel
Striker Paul Glatzel said “I’m exactly where I want to be” after agreeing a new contract with Swindon Town.
The 24-year-old has signed a deal until 2027 at the Nigel Eady County Ground.
And having played 65 times for Town having joined from Liverpool in January 2024, Glatzel insisted he always wanted to remain with the club.
He told the club website: "As soon as the gaffer pulled me in and told me he wanted to offer me a new deal and discussed what he wants us to achieve and how he wants to continue what we built at the back end of last season, it was a no-brainer for me.
“I'm really excited to build something here with this fantastic group, especially keeping such a core together, and if next season starts the way it ended, there's lots to look forward to.
"The end of last season was so positive, it's something to build on, and next season is something to look forward to, and we can get this club back to where it belongs.
“It's been so easy to find a home here at Swindon, the fans, the stadium and the staff make that so seamless, and I'm exactly where I want to be."
