FA overturn Lawrence Vigouroux's red card

Swindon Town have confirmed that the Football Association have overturned the red card given to Lawrence Vigouroux.

Referee Darren Deadman sent off the 23-year-old Chilean goalkeeper in the 90th minute of Swindon's 2-1 defeat at home to Oxford United.

Swindon appealed the decision as a case of "wrongful dismissal" and the FA have rescinded the ban.

Vigouroux was initially banned for two matches, Bury and Northampton away, but he will now be able to play both fixtures.

Nathan Thompson, who actually committed the foul on Sunday, will not be banned as a result.
