Colston agrees new contract with Swindon Town

Clinical striker Annie Colston expressed her delight in extending her stay at Swindon Town.

The forward, who has netted 99 goals for the club in that period, is set to remain for the 2025/26 FA Women’s National League Division One South Campaign.

She scored 21 goals in all competitions as boss Richard Wood’s side finished third in the league table in 2024/25.

Colston told the club website: "I’m delighted to re-sign with Swindon for a fifth season. This club means a lot to me, and it’s exactly where I want to be. I’m grateful for the support from everyone here and excited to keep pushing for success together.

"Richard is building a strong side as we approach next season in tier four, our goals align, and we are ready to chase our ambitions next season.

“To be able to play every game at the Nigel Eady County Ground will be incredible, and I'm really excited for next season."
