Snapped: inSwindon Launch Havelock Square Farmers Market

Following the closure of a Market in the town centre late last year, Council officials have since reviewed their decision and removed the street vendor ban that forced retailers to cease trading. Back in October, local traders and their customers were left heartbroken after a decision by Swindon Council meant that a town centre market could no longer take place in its current location - due to the fact that it was in breach of local trading laws. Since the decision was revoked, inSwindon have launched a new weekly Farmers Market in Havelock Square, which promises to be bigger and better than ever before. It is hoped that the new market will increase footfall for existing businesses in the town centre and bring the community closer together.
