Dave Southby pays tribute to the businesses who have supported him in 2022!

Dave Southby of Dave Southby Financial Planning has just celebrated his first year in business.

Today he shares with us those who have gone the extra mile when supporting him throughout the year.

My first full year in business has been an incredible learning curve and I owe so much to the local businesses I have met along the way and through networking. I need to say a special thanks to:

• Martin Baker Estate Planner – Martin has been fantastic in not just supporting me with services I can’t provide (Will Writing and Estate Planning) but also providing me with advice and emotional support with growing my business. It has been invaluable to bounce ideas off someone who is in a similar field of business.
   
• Scott Media – Fiona has been amazing at helping me make sense of my PR and social media presence. If I can give any advice to people newly in business its to know your limitations and when to bring in an expert. Fiona’s expertise & advice has been amazing and I’m excited to see what happens when we work together throughout 2023.
   
• Moore Photographics – Neil took some professional photos of me last month and was fantastic throughout the whole process. I wasn’t very comfortable doing it but Neil was very professional and patient throughout. I would recommend every business owner have professional photos taken. It is the first thing a new client sees so it is important to make the right impression.
   
• Nickel Design – Mike and Richard have supported me with my rebrand earlier this year. Whenever I have needed help they have always been at the other end of the phone offering their expertise.
