Snapped: Lord Baker Visits UTC Swindon Site

On Tuesday 29th January, former Education Secretary Lord Baker was in Swindon to visit the town's UTC campus. UTC Swindon will open later this year and focus on qualifications in engineering and entrepreneurship. Students will have the opportunity to gain skills relevant to careers in all aspects of the engineering sector. Lord Baker was given a tour of the construction site before meeting with directors, supporters and partners to discuss the Baker Dearing Educational Trust and future plans for the University Technology College.
