REVIEW: Hidden Gem in Charlton – Our Day at Down on the Farm, Wiltshire

We stumbled across Down on the Farm in Charlton, Wiltshire during their brilliant Open Day and are so glad we did – it’s a real hidden gem and perfect for young families looking for wholesome countryside fun.

We visited with our 3-year-old and were so impressed by the welcoming vibe, variety of activities and how well it’s all been set up for little ones. It’s tucked away down Moor Lane, and although we’d never heard of it before, we’re already planning our return!

The Open Day was full of charm – from tractor and trailer rides to delicious food from the BBQ and café. The relaxed setting, friendly team and thoughtful set-up made it so easy to spend a few happy hours enjoying everything on offer.

Our little one loved the Stay and Play area, and we were excited to find out they also offer Set Play sessions and are launching a brand-new campsite soon – perfect for those looking to make the most of Wiltshire’s beautiful outdoors.

If you’re local and haven’t yet discovered Down on the Farm Wiltshire, we’d definitely recommend popping by. Follow the signs on Moor Lane and enjoy a slice of rural magic!
