Juliet Wood to Unveil New Collection

Acclaimed portrait painter, Juliet Wood will be bringing her art to life on Wednesday April 17th at Swindon's Wharf Green.

Teaming-up with local schools the life visual event will encourage children to get involved in art, while Juliet’s collection is played-out on the big screen.

The paintings 'Alone and Together' portray both distinct yet also ambiguous themes arising from common experience and a range of social and visual patterns: a snatched coffee or snack, the relief of breakfast after a night-shift or before a long day at work.

The sub-title Brunel’s People firmly locates the paintings in Swindon, where Wood taught in the art school for eighteen years.
