North Wiltshire’s First 18-Hole Disc Golf Course Opens at Cricklade Hotel

A major milestone for disc golf in Wiltshire has arrived, as Cricklade Hotel & Spa officially launches the first full-length 18-hole disc golf course in North Wiltshire.

The new course is a significant expansion from its previously popular 9-hole layout, and it’s already creating a buzz among locals and disc golf enthusiasts alike.

Initiated by professional disc golfers Adam Barlow and Jamie Matthews, the project marks an exciting step forward for one of the UK’s fastest-growing sports.

Much like traditional golf, players aim to complete each hole in the fewest number of throws, only instead of balls and clubs, disc golf uses specialised frisbee-style discs and metal baskets.

As part of a summer launch offer, families can enjoy a round of 18-hole disc golf for just £25 (for four players) from 18 July to 31 August. Standard prices start at £10 per person per game.
