Danny Gallagher - Head of Sport

A northern boy lost down south, Danny joined team Total in September 2015. A graduate of Lancaster University and Cardiff University school of Journalism, Danny is an NCTJ accredited journalist with a love of all things sport.

Head of sport content for the Total sites, Danny works closely with key clubs and organisations within the area, including Swindon Wildcats, Swindon Town, Swindon Robins and Bath Rugby Club.

Always looking to make Total Sport content as exclusive and as niche as possible, Danny is continuously searching for new ideas to switch up the way sport is covered in Swindon, and beyond.

Sport aside, Danny is an avid reader and a lover of modern art. His other pleasures include good coffee and, though he will never openly admit it, a slight addiction to reality television.
