July Talk with Dave Barnes

July is rushing by and the school holidays are now in full swing. So how are business owners feeling about this holiday period? Is it a time for busy, busy, busy or is it a time for planning, planning, planning? Today we're talking to Dave Barnes, who is the founder and owner of DB executive travel and wedding cars. The company is based in Leafield, West Oxfordshire.

What are your plans for July in your business?
We aim to further establish our recovery from the pandemic and lock downs by attracting new clients - it has been prom season for schools lately so this always helps!

What are your personal plans for this month? 
Lots of exciting things have happened. I went to the Henley Music Festival to see Craig David, we had a  Barnes family BBQ in Hampshire with our wider family and we’ll be spending a few days away with our daughter on a farm in Wales.

Does July hold any particular significance for you or your business?
In July 2016 we raised our very first invoice for our wedding car services! We have supplied cars for many weddings since!

Our business took a massive hit during pandemic and lock downs, and is only just getting to the levels we had before the pandemic.

In addition, recently we exceeded the 100+ 5 star google reviews for our services.

We are thrilled that our order book is now looking much more healthy and therefore believe that we will be able to provide our services for the foreseeable future.
