IR35 in the Private Sector: How contractors can protect themselves

After April 2021, it will be the responsibility of (large) end-clients to decide on the IR35 status of contractors. There are ways that contractors can influence this decision including tendering for work as part of a group rather than as an individual, and working in ways such that will help HMRC’s CEST tool to give a more helpful IR35 verdict.
